Description

The Office of Insular Affairs (OIA) is requesting proposals for its Energizing Insular Communities(EIC) Program, which provides grant funding for energy projects and strategies that reduce the cost of electricity to the territories and Freely Associated States (FAS). This program is intended to support the Department’s priority to utilize our natural resources by ensuring American Energy is available to meet security and economic needs. The focus of the 2019 EIC funding program is to implement priority actions identified in jurisdiction's strategic energy plan and/or energy action plan.
