Description

The U.S. Embassy Bucharest/Bureau of Public Affairs of the U.S. Department of State announces an open competition for non-profit Romanian organizations and institutions with activity and experience in the field of education and civic engagement to apply for a grant to organize a civic education program to promote informed voting in rural areas of southeast Romania. The program should be completed prior to the beginning of the electoral campaign for the presidential elections scheduled for late 2019. Applicants and the program should not be affiliated with nor promote any political party, but rather be focused strictly on voter education. The program will be part of the Embassy’s Civic Engagement Campaign, under the topline message: My Vote Matters!

  • Nonprofits with 501(c)(3) status (other than higher education)
  • Nonprofits without 501(c)(3) status (other than higher education)
