Description
The purpose of this award is to increase and expand upon existing research and partnerships to improve management decision-making (i.e., adaptive management) and inform where conservation measures are needed. The Service intends to issue a single cooperative agreement award under this Notice of Funding Opportunity. Because of the specialized combination of skills required (expertise in Bayesian statistical modeling, expertise in population modeling using integrated population models, and experience with population models for migratory birds), we intend to accomplish this through a sole-source award to the School of Natural Resources, University of Missouri (SNR).
