Description

Project Objectives ¿Identify wetlands within and adjacent to the dike system ¿Consider impacts of dike system restoration project to those wetlands ¿Identify areas of degraded wetlands that can be improved as part of the dike restoration project and actively improve those areas ¿Interpret project activities to the public Project Tasks¿Conduct formal wetlands delineations ¿Replant saltmarsh vegetation in degraded wetlands ¿Conduct monitoring activities in wetland areas ¿Document the above activities by writing reports, taking photographs, and compiling data ¿Create content related to the project for FOPU¿s website, printed publications, and social media ¿Lead formal and informal educational programs related to wetlands and the overall dike system project
