Description

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Fort Collins Science Center (FORT) is offering a funding opportunity to a CESU partner for research in best practices for Tamarix control and subsequent riparian restoration in western U.S. rivers. Work is to be focused on the development of a decision tool for Tamarix management based on a synthesis of current scientific literature and technical reports. The results of this study will be provided to resource managers so that they can make better decisions in an adaptive management context.
