NPS will work to train the intern to complete data sets to inform work on cultural landscapes and historic structures by determining eligibility, tracking condition and impacts, and sharing data to NPS programs to make informed resource management decisions. Data is used to create work orders and 106 compliance packages which ultimately serve the public by providing well maintained cultural resources for education and enjoyment. Park landscape profiles are featured on the cultural landscape public facing web site for education and research purposes. Program social media posts promote these featured landscapes for public enjoyment and understanding.
