Description

The interns will shadow NPS interpreters, learn special skills, and gain real world experience in environmental education. They will learn about the environment and bats specifically and become involved in directly educating numerous park visitors, local community members and schoolchildren about bats and white nose syndrome through a variety of means including social media, cave tours, prepared talks, and a special Batty about Bats event, this is a critical part of our mission at CUGA. The interns will learn and teach others about what they can do to be better stewards of resources in their communities. Typically these interns benefit immensely through this learning and hands-on experience.
