Description

The U. S. Agency for International Development (USAID)/Mali Health Office plans to award two Cooperative Agreements under this Funding Opportunity: Household and Community Health (HCH) and Health Systems Strengthening, Governance and Financing (HSS). Both activities will support Mali’s journey to self-reliance by strengthening Malians’ capacity to plan, manage and finance their own health and their health systems. The first activity (HCH) will be focused on increasing the practice of healthy behaviors in the household; improving financial planning and saving for health; and improving community oversight of and engagement with local health services. The second activity (HSS) will be focused on strengthening the Malian health system and increasing citizen’s participation in the management, performance, and accountability of health systems.
