National Park Service intent to Award. This Announcement is to provide public notice of the National Park Service's intention to award a task agreement under the Master P15AC00031 Funding Announcement #P19AC00736 Project Title:WEAR (Kotzebue) Interpretation and Education Intern Recipient:Student Conservation Association Federal Funds:$25,039.82 Non Federal: $8,346.61 Period of Performance: 9/16/2019-93/16/2020 Authority: 16 USC 1702 CFDA: 15.931 ARTICLE II – PROJECT GOALS AND OBJECTIVES A. Project Goals – This agreement supports one (1) SCA intern for 26 weeks working 40 hours per week. The intern will assist park rangers in regular personal and non-personal visitor services based from the Northwest Arctic Heritage Center in Kotzebue, Alaska. B. Project Objectives – The interpretation intern will conduct visitor center operations; support cultural and natural resource field projects if opportunity arises; and use research, field experiences, and existing materials to develop and present educational & interpretive programs to adults and children as well as create content for website and social media posts.
