Description
THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD TO A SINGLE SOURCE, AND THERE IS NO FULL ANNOUNCEMENT ASSOCIATED WITH THIS NOTICE. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) intends to award a cooperative agreement to support the Kentucky Aquatic Nuisance Species Management Plan, which was approved September 2008. This plan was developed through a team of biologists from several different agencies across Kentucky. The focus of the work will target research, monitoring, and the removal of the highly invasive aquatic species in Kentucky, primarily Asian carp species, zebra mussels, and spraying targeted invasive aquatic vegetation (Didymo, hydrilla, and curly pondweed) wherever these species occur throughout the state of Kentucky.
