This announcement is not a request for applications. This announcement is to provide public notice of the National Park Service’s intention to award a task agreement under a previously competed master cooperative agreement P15AC00009. The project goals are to improve and maintain the quality of prairies and woodlands in Northern Great Plains (NGP) NPS units. Objectives are to treat over 500 acres of invasive species such as leafy spurge, Canada thistle and knapweeds per year in NGP Exotic Plant Management Team (EPMT) parks. The work to be performed for the NGP EPMT is to conduct plant management and restoration. Activities include mapping and inventory of exotic and native plant species, herbicide treatment of weeds, manual and biological control of weeds, native plant seed collection and site work for restoration. NPS units located in eastern North and South Dakota, and Nebraska. Trails visitor experience will be enhances when trails and adjacent areas are in better ecological condition and improves habitats for wildlife.
