Description

This announcement is to provide public notice of the NPS's intentions to award a task agreement P19AC00344 under a previously competed master cooperative agreement P15AC00017. Work to be performed will include management of invasive species within the network of NPS units. The Northern Great Plains Exotic Plant Management Team conducts plant management and restoration. Activities include mapping and inventory of exotic and native plant species herbicide treatment of weeds, manual and biological control of weeds, native plant seed collection and site work for restoration. NPS units located in Nebraska, North and South Dakota, and Wyoming. The Northern Great Plains Exotic Plant Management Team priority areas will include trails, campgrounds and trailheads. Trail maintenance and reconstruction (flood) will occur as will maintenance of the road shoulder profile (maintaining base ground vegetation). Trails visitor experience is enhanced when trails and adjacent areas are in better ecological condition and improves habitats for wildlife and safer trail use. This announcement is not a request for applications.
