Description

This FOA has been modified. The due date for applications identified in Section IV.4. Submission Dates and Times has been modified from March 30, 2020 to April 13, 2020. This FOA has been modified. In Section II. Federal Award Information “Project Period: The total length of the proposed project, which is 18 months starting on September 30, 2020, and ending March 30, 2021” has been corrected to “Project Period: The total length of the proposed project, which is 18 months starting on September 30, 2020, and ending March 30, 2022". The Administration for Children and Families (ACF), Office of Planning, Research, and Evaluation (OPRE) plans to solicit applications for Secondary Analyses of Data on Early Care and Education grants. Analyzing existing data sets may provide researchers an efficient and cost-effective method for answering critical research questions. This funding opportunity aims to support researchers conducting secondary analyses of data to address key questions of relevance to the goals and outcomes of programs administered by ACF, in particular the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) and Head Start/Early Head Start (HS/EHS). Researchers may conduct secondary analyses of survey, program evaluation, or administrative data. Data sets from primary research and evaluation may also be candidates for secondary analyses. A data set may be used by itself or may be linked to another data set or database to best address the research questions proposed. For further information about OPRE, see http://acf.hhs.gov/opre.
