The Award Ceiling for Year 1 is 0 (none). CDC anticipates an Approximate Total Fiscal Year Funding amount of $7,000,000 for Year 1, subject to the availability of funds. The Ministry of Health (MOH) is the arm of the Zambian government that ensures services, supplies, and infrastructure are in place for the health of Zambian citizens. Within this mandate, the MOH oversees the policies, leadership strategies, mentorship, training, and appropriate related guidelines that are needed are provided to all implementers and partners to better regulate all activities within the health sector. The program areas which will be covered under this NOFO include HIV prevention, health communication, testing and treatment, laboratory work that supports the HIV program, epidemiology and strategic information, disease, health informatics, human resources for health (HRH) and health systems strengthening overall. Activities identified in this NOFO are expected to harness efficiencies, improve effectiveness, and measure quality improvement (QI) in line with PEPFAR key areas of emphasis. This NOFO will also focus on the role of MOH in building capacity to deliver health services to national, provincial, district, and site level.
