The Award Ceiling for Year 1 is 0 (none). CDC anticipates an Approximate Total Fiscal Year Funding amount of $500,000 for Year 1, subject to the availability of funds. This Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) aims to build upon and enhance past and current activities to reach the goals of increased Ministry of Health (MOH) ownership, accountability, and capacity to manage the HIV national response, and reduced HIV morbidity and mortality in the Dominican Republic). The key objectives are to increase capacity and quality of strategic information (SI), prevention, treatment, and human resources for health related to HIV, TB, and other infectious and emerging diseases in the DR. This NOFO will initially focus on Distrito Nacional, Santo Domingo, Santiago, and La Altagracia/or specific technical areas/target populations, with the possibility of later expansion to other populations and geographic areas depending on epidemic need and PEPFAR prioritization.
