The FY 2020 VOCA Training and Technical Assistance for Child Abuse Professionals Program will provide for the development and implementation of a model technical assistance and training program for child abuse professionals and to improve the judicial system's handling of child abuse and neglect cases. The program's overall goal is to enhance the coordinated multidisciplinary investigation and prosecution of child abuse. The program provides training opportunities and technical assistance, develops and disseminates publications, and promotes methods to provide project assessment and enhance coordination among multidisciplinary teams and other VOCA programs in the investigation and prosecution of child abuse.
