Description

The U.S. Embassy announces an open competition for assistance awards through this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for one or a series of programs in Professional Journalism Skills. The objective of the project is to support qualified organizations that can help increase the level of professionalism of Moldovan journalists and media outlets.Partnerships, joint efforts and co-funded initiatives are highly encouraged. Successfulproposals should include an assessment and sustainability plan, along with feasiblesolutions to current issues in the media market.Proposals seeking support for specific programming or reporting projects will be rejected. Interested organizations shall develop a plan that would fit the above stated priority into a comprehensive development strategy.This funding opportunity is authorized by the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961.A complete application must contain the following mandatory elements: · Application Format in MS Word format (available for download)· Detailed Budget in MS Excel format (available for download)· Monitoring and Evaluation Plan (Free form)For more details see attached Related Documents.
