Description
The U.S. Geological Survey¿s Pacific Coastal and Marine Science Center (PCMSC) is offering a funding opportunity to a CESU partner for research on the seafloor geology and shallow subsurface offshore of southeastern Alaska and western Canada. The USGS PCMSC research group will provide expertise in marine geology and geophysics to ensure effective collaboration with a CESU partner to study the seafloor geology, shallow substrate, and the influence of shallow geohazards (e.g., earthquakes, submarine landslides, and seabed fluid seeps) on benthic habitats along the offshore continental margin.
