Conservation of various species, to include federally-listed, candidate and Bureau sensitive species. Conservation includes, but is not limited to, gaining knowledge about species and their habitats, providing for protection or management of species and their habitats, augmenting species, restoring, and enhancing rare species habitat.

• Private institutions of higher education
