Minnesota Breeding Trumpeter Swan Survey

Description
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service), Midwest Region, intends to issue a Single Source Grant Award without competition to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. The dollar amount will be up to $12,000. The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources will design and conduct a survey and produce estimates of the abundance and distribution of adult Trumpeter Swans in Minnesota in the spring and summer of 2020 for the northeast third of Minnesota. They will produce a report that describes the design, methods, and results of the survey, including estimates of adult swan abundance and associated precision, and a map delineating the estimated current trumpeter swan summering range in that portion of the State.
