Description

The Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2020 (the Act) (Pub. L. No. 116-94) appropriated $9,775,000 for the Short Sea Transportation Program (America’s Marine Highway Program) to be used for Marine Highway Grants for the development and expansion of documented vessels, and port and landside infrastructure. Marine Highway Grants may be awarded to eligible Marine Highway Projects as outlined in the attached NOFO. MARAD’s Office of Ports & Waterways Planning (Program Office) will receive applications and administer the grants.
