Description
The Emergency Food and Shelter National Board Program (EFSP) makes available federal funds, through the program's National Board, to supplement and expand the work of local social service agencies, both nonprofit and governmental, in an effort to assist families and individuals experiencing a severe economic crisis that is not the immediate result of a natural or man-made disaster situation. The National Board is the only applicant eligible to apply for and be awarded these funds.
