Description

The Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation) intends to issue a grant agreement to University of California, Davis (UCD) Producing Novel Genome-Level Resources for Vernal Pool Crustaceans of Conservation Concern in California under the authority of Fish and Wildlife Coordination Act, Public Law 85-624, 16 U.S.C. Section 661 et seq., as amended (FWCA). Estimated total amount of agreement is $368,941.35.The project will provide genetic information on two species of Central Valley Project-impacted federally listed vernal pool invertebrate species which can be used to assist with the conservation and recovery of the species.Refer to the Notice of Intent to Award Announcement No. BOR-CGB-20-N012 for additional informationA Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed financial assistance based upon Departmental Manual 505 DM 2, paragraph 2.14(B)(4)(2) is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals.
