Description

US Geological Survey in offering a funding opportunity to a CESU Partner for research in the investigation of the use of remotely sensed satellite images, in conjunction with hydrological and geological data, to map the potential of ground water resources. Digital image maps are being generated for the AOI which will show the potential availability of shallow ground water within the study sites. Along with the Potential Shallow Ground Water (PSGW) model a second one is being developed that generates Potential Infiltration (PI) map.
