Description

The USGS is offering a funding opportunity to a CESU partner for research to test whether bat populations are declining in FWS Region 3. This work will assess the status of all bat species for which acoustic monitoring data are currently available across FWS Region 3 by developing species distribution maps based on occupancy probabilities along with 95% confidence errors using species presence-absence data derived from stationary and mobile acoustic recordings.
