Description
The purpose of this notice of funding opportunity is to conduct epidemiologic, clinical, field and laboratory research on important human infectious diseases, with an emphasis on HIV/AIDS, Malaria, emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases, zoonotic diseases, neglected tropical diseases, Tuberculosis, Influenza, Coronaviruses and other diseases with pandemic potential to include research on mobile and vulnerable populations. Also included are a focus on environmental health issues, chronic diseases, birth defects and developmental disabilities, maternal and child health, public health preparedness, biosafety, and injury control and prevention.
