The U.S. Embassy Tokyo’s Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Department of State announces an open competition for entities to submit applications to create sustainable academic, business, and/or people-to-people exchanges between the U.S. and Japanese cities currently serving as U.S. Host Towns.

Who can apply

• State governments
• Public and State controlled institutions of higher education
• Nonprofits with 501(c)(3) status (other than higher education)
• Private institutions of higher education
