Description
The Department of Justice is committed to advancing work that promotes civil rights, increases access to justice, supports crime victims, protects the public from crime and evolving threats, and builds trust between law enforcement and the community. This program will support projects to build or enhance a community response to female genital mutilation and cutting (FGMC). Grantees will work to increase services, education, and community partner engagement to stop the victimization of girls through FGMC, at the community level.
