USAID/Liberia expects to award a five-year (60 month) $11,000,000 cooperative agreement for this activity. The illustrative activities and results in this NOFO are meant to be examples only, and USAID encourages applications that propose activities and interventions that are both innovative and appropriate to the Liberian context.This activity is expected to achieve the following objectives:1. Capacity of media to produce reliable, relevant and accurate information enhanced2. Media’s ability to serve as a conduit for information between citizens and government enhanced3. Organizational and financial sustainability of community radio stations improved4. Enabling environment for freer media strengthened
