California Conservation Agreements

Description
Emphasis will be placed on projects that provide technical assistance to NRCS staff in the implementation of Farm Bill conservation programs in California counties. NRCS seeks collaboration with conservation partners and outside entities to perform conservation planning on private lands and complete conservation plans under NRCS conservation planning policy.

- County governments
- City or township governments
- Special district governments
- Public and State controlled institutions of higher education
- Native American tribal governments (Federally recognized)
- Native American tribal organizations (other than Federally recognized)
- Nonprofits with 501(c)(3) status (other than higher education)
- Nonprofits without 501(c)(3) status (other than higher education)
- Private institutions of higher education
