Description

The purpose of this five-year program is to improve the performance of the National Vital Statistics System by convening state vital statistics programs to evaluate and promote strategies for improving data quality, timeliness and utility for public health use; train and develop the vital statistics workforce; support accreditation of state vital statistics programs; and provide technical assistance.
