The U.S. Geological Survey Southwest Biological Science Center (SBSC) is offering a funding opportunity to a CESU Partner for research to build a program to (1) Assess what biocrust communities and functions exist in Casa Grande Ruins National Monument and (2) Determine the most effective restoration tools for quickly bringing back biocrust communities and their functions in Arizona National Park Service lands, including Casa Grande Ruins National Monument, Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument, and Tonto National Monument.
