Description

Funding Opportunity Description The USGS is offering a funding opportunity to a CESU partner for research on the dynamics of community stability due to climate-driven coastal hazards, such as erosion and flooding. The primary Research Objectives covered by this opportunity include: (1) modelling coastal housing market response to sea level rise and erosion, (2) applying novel methods for quantifying the stability of populated coastal systems, (3) performing future coastal hazard assessments, (4) writing papers to peer-reviewed journals, and (5) attending meetings with the USGS coastal hazards team to discuss strategies for future work, resolve issues, and assist with the publication and dissemination of results.
