The Public Affairs Section (PAS) of the U.S. Mission to Pakistan is pleased to announce an open competition for three (3) related grant proposals, contingent on funding availability, through the Public Diplomacy Grants Program. Under this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO), PAS seeks proposals to establish partnerships between U.S. and Pakistani universities (for two of the proposals described below), and organizations (for one of the proposals described below) to build Pakistani capacity to adapt to and mitigate climate change. The partnerships will facilitate curriculum development, collaborative research, virtual exchanges, sharing of resources, professional development, and exchanges.For these three related proposals noted above, each project will require a separate application. Applicants MUST submit a separate Application Summary Coversheet for each proposal and must clearly outline the project goal and objectives addressed within each proposal. Universities and organizations are permitted to separately apply for one, two, or all three project proposals under this NOFO.The selected applicant and its proposed sub-partners must be a legally recognized non-profit and non-governmental organization(s), that meet U.S. and Pakistan technical and legal requirements to develop and implement public diplomacy programs as specified in Section C.
