Request for Information #7200AA22RFI00010 Sustainable Inclusive Development for Equity (SIDE) Description USAID/Bureau for Development, Democracy, and Innovation (DDI)/Inclusive Development (ID) Hub at the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) promotes the rights and inclusion of marginalized, under-represented populations and/or people in vulnerable situations (MUGPVs) in the development process. The ID Hub provides support to meaningfully integrate children in adversity, their families, and youth, Indigenous Peoples; persons with disabilities; Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Intersex (LGBTQI+) persons; victims of torture and those with unmet mental health needs; physical rehabilitation, and assistive health technologies and cross-cutting inclusion and equity efforts, inclusive of racial and ethnic equity into Agency programs. USAID/DDI/ID Hub is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) for the purpose of learning the best practices to increase the capacity of organizations serving MUGPVs to support their development needs, and to support small grants, capacity building, and rapid response. The ID Hub seeks information to help inform the development of an Assistance Mechanism to build local capacity to represent and address the needs of MUGPVs. This Request for Information is provided in the following pages. Interested parties are requested to respond to this RFI in Microsoft Word compatible formats and submit via email to Abdullah Akbar at abakbar@usaid.gov by no later than February 15, 2022. Please include the title “SIDE RFI” in the subject line of your email. This RFI also includes a draft Program Description which stakeholders are requested to provide comments on.
