Description
U.S. Embassy Tokyo’s Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Department of State announces an open competition for organizations to submit applications to conduct a nationwide survey of Japanese universities to 1) assess the number and demographics of Japanese seeking PhDs in the hard sciences; 2) determine Japanese universities’ research and development opportunities; and 3) identify threats and solutions to Japanese campuses and research from intellectual property theft, as well as to academic freedom.
