Description
The Native Hawaiian Resource Center on Domestic Violence (NHRCDV) will offer a comprehensive array of statewide community education, training, and technical assistance resources to organizations and providers of services to Native Hawaiians, specifically designed to enhance the capacity of organizations and providers to respond to family violence, domestic violence, and dating violence in a culturally sensitive and relevant manner. The NHRCDV will be part of a network of National and Special Issue Resource Centers providing leadership and support to the existing programs serving victims of domestic violence and their children.One award will be issued and preference will be given to applicants proposing to establish or maintain a resource center in the State of Hawaii, and bonus points will be provided to such applications.
