Description

This solicitation is part of the OVW Training and Technical Assistance Initiative, which is authorized by 34 U.S.C. 12291(b)(11). The primary purpose of the OVW Training and Technical Assistance Initiative (TA Initiative) (CFDA 16.526) is to provide direct training and technical assistance (TTA) to existing and potential OVW grant recipients and subrecipients to enhance their efforts to successfully implement projects supported by OVW grant funds. OVW's TA is designed to strengthen and build the capacity of civil and criminal justice system professionals and victim service providers across the nation to respond effectively to domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking and foster partnerships among organizations that have not traditionally worked together to address these crimes. About the OVW FY 2022 Special Tribal Criminal Jurisdiction Training and Technical Assistance Solicitation This solicitation is to provide TTA to support grantees and potential grantees of the OVW Tribal Jurisdiction program to plan for, implement, and exercise Special Tribal Criminal Jurisdiction (STCJ). NOTE: Applicants should not include TTA for Alaska Tribes designated by the Attorney General as participating tribes under the Alaska Pilot program. See 25 U.S.C.1305. OVW will be soliciting separately for TTA for these tribes.
