The purpose of the SPF-PFS program is to help reduce the onset and progression of substance misuse and its related problems by supporting the development and delivery of state and community substance misuse prevention and mental health promotion services. This program is intended to promote substance use prevention throughout a state jurisdiction for individuals and families by building and expanding the capacity of local community prevention providers to implement evidence-based programs.This NOFO will remain open for FY 2024.The following are the due dates for each FY:FY 2023: Applications are due by June 5, 2023 (Closed)FY 2024: Applications are due by February 26, 2024Applications submitted by the due date will be reviewed and funding decisions will be made by the end of the FY.Applicants that do not receive funding are eligible to apply for the following fiscal year.
