Community Supervision Leadership Learning Lab Training
ArchivedNational Institute of Corrections
Description
The National Institute of Corrections (NIC) recognizes the need to provide community supervision leadership with training that enhances skills to improve an agency’s ability to deliver evidence-based practices intended to support behavior change among supervised individuals. Therefore, NIC collaborated with an independent contractor to review, modify, and redesign its Probation and Parole Executive Orientation curriculum; the result was the creation of a virtual Community Supervision Leadership Learning Lab that includes the most up-to-date material needed to assist community corrections leaders in probation and parole agencies in effectively implementing evidence-based interventions.
