The Global Engagement Center (GEC) at the U.S. Department of State announces the Notice of Funding Opportunity (“NOFO”) for Supporting Independent Media in the Indo-Pacific Region (see notional list of countries below), an open competition for organizations to submit applications to carry out a program to support and bolster free and independent media, media-adjacent NGOs, and journalism schools in the Indo-Pacific.
