USDA/FAS works to collaborate with U.S. government agencies, international organizations, and non-governmental organizations, and industry to promote U.S. products of biotechnologies and understanding and acceptance of agricultural biotechnologies used in animal agriculture, including new initiatives related to the technology.he goals of this program are to assist in national development, implementation or enforcement of science-based standards, and support science-based decision making within regional economic communities across Africa and by their respective member states pertaining to the use of biotechnology in animal agriculture.
