Description

This NOFO focuses on preventing sexual violence (SV) perpetration and victimization by increasing protective factors and decreasing risk factors. The public health approach is based on the best available evidence and involves the implementation and evaluation of comprehensive strategies. With this NOFO, up to 10 Tribal Sexual Assault (SA) will be funded to address Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) within the community and societal-levels of the Social Ecological Model (SEM) using evidence-informed and culturally validated strategies. The goal is to promote health equity in prevention efforts and to foster meaningful engagement and coordination among Tribal and Sexual Assault coalitions and State/Territory Health Departments.
