U.S. Geological Survey’s (USGS) Ecosystem Mission Area (EMA) is offering a funding opportunity to a CESU Partner to establish a Southern California (SoCal) Innovation Landscape Network node to advance climate-informed conservation science. The Southwest Innovation Landscape Innovation Network (SWILN), part of the larger National Innovation Landscape Network led by the USGS EMA and affiliates of DoD, offers a new paradigm for accelerating management-relevant science innovation and technology transfer through science-management partnerships that foster start-to-finish collaborations between the research community and end users who make planning and management decisions.
