The FY 2025 Regional Catastrophic Preparedness Grant Program (RCPGP), as authorized and appropriated by the Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act, 2024 (Pub. L. No. 118-47), is one part of a comprehensive set of actions implemented by DHS to build preparedness capabilities. The purpose of the RCPGP is to build state and local capacity to manage catastrophic incidents by improving and expanding regional collaboration, across the whole community.
