Description

The Mentored Research Scientist Career Development Award provides support for a sustained period of protected time (up to five years) for intensive research career development under the guidance of an experienced mentor. The award is expected to prepare candidates with research doctoral degrees for future research independence.

• Nonprofits without 501(c)(3) status (other than higher education)
• Private institutions of higher education
• For-profit organizations other than small businesses
• Small businesses
