Description

In July 2007 the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor (DRL) submitted to Congress the United States Strategy for Democracy and Governance in Iraq, 2007-2010. In order to address some of the critical challenges outlined in the strategy, DRL and The Office of the Senior Coordinator for International Women’s Issues (G/IWI) announce a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a grant award from the U.S. Department of State’s Fiscal Year 2007 Human Rights and Democracy Fund from organizations interested in submitting proposals for projects that support the goals and objectives of the strategy.
