Description
The purpose of this agreement is to provide financial support from the US Fish and Wildlife Service to facilitate effective and efficient coordination of migratory bird conservation efforts in the Northern Great Plains Region to meet the objectives of the Northern Great Plains Joint Venture in support of the North American Waterfowl Management Plan and the North American Bird Conservation Initiative. The NGPJV Implementation Plan is the guiding document for the overall direction of the joint venture. The objective of this agreement is to support the activities necessary to assure active conservation of important migratory bird habitats in the NGPJV area including NGPJV coordination, communications, projects, and biological planning, monitoring and evaluation.It is the intent of the Service to award an agreement to Ducks Unlimited, Inc. for services in support of the NGPJV. Additional funding may be added based on future funding and appropriations.
