Description
This project will provide financial support for Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) work to advance Canaan Valley National Wildlife Refuge's abilities to monitor and respond to any Chronic Wasting Disease outbreaks. The Applicant will need to participate in CWD activities related to Refuge deer herd monitoring when requested, will train refuge personnel to take CWD samples from road kills and also take road kill samples in Tucker County and surrounding counties of Canaan Valley National Wildlife Refuge.
