Wetland Program Development Grants (WPDGs) provide eligible applicants an opportunity to conduct projects that promote the coordination and acceleration of research, investigations, experiments, training, demonstrations, surveys, and studies relating to the causes, effects, extent, prevention, reduction, and elimination of water pollution.Projects for awards under this RFP must occur within the states of EPA Region 3 specifically Delaware, District of Columbia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia. In the case of inter-jurisdictional watershed projects, they must be primarily implemented in EPA Region 3. This document describes the grant selection and award process for eligible applicants interested in applying for WPDGs under this announcement. Implementation of wetland protection programs is not an eligible activity under this announcement.
